Here’s how you stop the spinning… take a few breaths, and find the current moment. Ask yourself, “Is my response to this stimulus necessary right now?” If not, take it off your list and create space between your required actions.

You’ve heard of Pareto’s Law: “80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.” What if you allowed someone else to fill the vacuum and you focused just on the 20% that generates the 80%?

Here’s what will happen… you’ll find that everything that’s really important still gets done and you’ve just removed a bunch of distractions. Now, doesn’t that feel better?
